Sniper, Inc. Dominates World Ford Challenge 8 Diesel class

With only two vehicles equipped with Sniper tuning, Sniper, Inc. dominates the diesel class at this years World Ford Challenge in St. Louis, Missouri.

David Lott of Diesel Innovations became the number one qualifier after setting a record run of 11.55 at 119 mph. David made it to the final round finishing up as runner up.

As the returning champion of the World Ford Challenge PDQ/Sniper sponsored Diesel Challenge class, Johnny Wiker from Johnny Lightning Performance blasted his Sniper tuned van into the winner's circle for the second year in a row. Johnny's otherwise "bone stock" van wowed the crowd with an amazing run of 14.08 at 95 mph. Congratulations to David and Johnny for putting on an amazing show.

Here it is. The most complete "end user" tuning software that you will find for 1999-2007 Ford Powerstrokes. The Special Forces software allows you to use your home desktop computer to create performance files to fit your exact needs. You no longer have to settle with the "other brands" base programs.

Once loaded onto your desktop or laptop computer the Special Forces diesel software opens the doors to creativity. You have the ability to improve your vehicle's performance if you have made the following modifications:
- turbocharger (compressor wheel, aftermarktet turbo, etc)
- nitrous oxide or propane
- exhaust down pipe and/or full system
- fuel system (crossover lines, pump, etc)
- fuel injectors (single shot, split shot, mini me's)

The Special Forces software for Ford diesels also allows you to adjust:
- smoke control
- throttle response
- injection timing
- part & wide open throttle shift points (currently only for 7.3)
- part & wide open throttle torque converter lock up (currently only for 7.3)
- engine rev limiter
- speed limiter (select a specific mph)
- idle (not all applications covered, but custom file can be supplied)
- passive anti-theft disable

For those who dont want to bother with adjustments...just disregard the above information and click on our preset power levels. Right away you can benefit from improved power, increased fuel mileage and a truck that now responds like a sports car.

The Special Forces software allows you to create as many performance files as you wish. There's no limitation. The price of the Special Forces software also allows you to program two vehicles and you have the option of programming additional vehicles (3+) with the purchase of a Sniper Bullet.

The Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be.

The Predator was created with one thing in mind, POWER!

Average power gains are per tune. The Predators additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with an increase in power that starts in the low RPMs and builds into a frenzy at the high RPMs.

A Predator equipped vehicle will notice significant improvements in drivability. The additional power and improved shift patterns created by the Predator tune will yield quicker acceleration and better mileage, whether it is in town or out on the highway.

The power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion, i.e. the engine extracts more power from each molecule of gasoline
