Custom Tuning is needed whenever you add certain aftermarket products. DiabloSport Standard default tunes are designed for stock/mildly modified vehicles only.

As on of Diablosport's large network of CMR dealers using Chipmaster Revolution Software we can dyno tune your car or truck at our location. Your car or truck does not have to be heavily modified to benefit from custom dyno tuning, even a stock car can benefit from be tuned.

For some time, we've had our sights on the muscular 2005 Mustang GT. We got the opportunity this past week to put our tuning and calibration skills to work when the completely stock white Mustang pulled up to our facility. We were all eager to strap it down onto our MD600 eddy current Mustang Dyno to see what initial results we can get.

Along with the power gains, we paid special attention to the transmission shift points, limiters and throttle response...modifying them to improve performance and driveability even more. Since these are just early preliminary results, we feel there's more to be gained. We'll keep you posted.

Stock Power = 237 HP
Stock Torque = 253 lb-ft

Sniper Power = 264 HP
Sniper Torque = 263 lb-ft

So, as you can see, the eddy current dyno results showed a 27 horsepower gain and 10 lb-ft torque gain TO THE REAR WHEELS!!!

As you probably already figured out, these type of improvements will be found in our Spartan hand-held programmer and Scout software. Stay tuned for further updates.

Further tests with multiple automatic vehicles yeilds additional power gains.

What is the Diablosport Predator?

The Predator is a state-of-the art, high performance tuning flash programmer in a sleek handheld design. Once connected to the vehicle, the Predators internal computer recognizes the vehicles PCM and automatically picks the proper tuning files designed specifically for that PCM. Inside the Predator's memory are the actual tuning files that optimize spark timing and air/fuel ratio curves. The transmission parameters are remapped to improve the shift characteristics such as shift firmness and shift points. Unlike other 'tuners', DiabloSport's programming is performed in very small increments throughout the entire RPM range, for a smoother, wider and a more predictable power delivery. DiabloSport engineers spend many hours on the dyno, street and track to ensure the tunes provided with the Predator are the best they can be.

The Predator was created with one thing in mind, POWER!

Average power gains are in the 15-20 RWHP range. The Predators additional power makes itself noticeable immediately with an increase in power that starts in the low RPMs and builds into a frenzy at the high RPMs.

A Predator equipped vehicle will notice significant improvements in drivability. The additional power and improved shift patterns created by the Predator tune will yield quicker acceleration and better mileage, whether it is in town or out on the highway.

The power increase in the lower RPMs will yield a better throttle response. The increase in MPG is a byproduct of maximized engine efficiency, the improved timing curve and air/fuel ratio creates a more complete combustion, i.e. the engine extracts more power from each molecule of gasoline.
